ABOUT SATELLITE CITI
Satellite Citi is a Los Angeles-based hard rock band led by powerhouse frontwoman Anna Gevorkian, who commands both lead vocals and drums with her dynamic presence and thunderous rhythms. Shaunt Sulahian completes the core duo with his powerful, riff-driven guitar work and backing vocals, creating a sound that breathes new life into modern hard rock.
For their atmospheric live performances, Satellite Citi is joined by anonymous musicians known as Spacewalkers, who provide additional layers on guitar and bass, adding to the band’s enigmatic stage presence.
Their most recent EP, Spacewalker, produced by Grammy Award-winning producer David Bottrill (Muse, Tool, Coheed & Cambria), is a concept record that pairs with an original comic book of the same name, written by the band. The story explores the origin of Spacewalker as well as themes of betrayal, grief, and hope, with the music and narrative deeply intertwined. Issue 1 of the Spacewalker comic is out now.
At the heart of Satellite Citi’s music is a message of mental health awareness, drawing from the band’s own struggles with fear and anxiety—issues that are ever-present in today’s culture. Their songs aim to inspire resilience and spark meaningful conversations around these challenges.
Satellite Citi’s music has been featured in films and television, including The Freak Brothers (starring Woody Harrelson and John Goodman), and they contributed to the score of the acclaimed documentary Long Live Rock… Celebrate the Chaos, alongside members of Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and Slipknot. Their work has garnered attention from major outlets such as Huffington Post, Guitar World, Loudwire, and American Songwriter, cementing their reputation as a rising force in both music and storytelling.
“Deemed as the fresh new band to resurrect the beloved rock genre with their own modern and exciting approach, Satellite Citi are on the road to delivering audiences with music that tackles important issues that our society is facing today.”
